APPOINTMENTS: Call us at 626-584-1200
Our travel clinic does not require a credit card guarantee to make an appointment.

We highly encourage you to make an appointment when possible. This will ensure the highest level of individual attention during your scheduled appointment.

• WALK-INS: If you are unable to make an appointment, please consider our "walk-in" services. All we ask you to do is to call our clinic prior to your arrival to ensure reasonable accomodation and to minimize your wait time. Please remember that all walk-in appointments are subject to possible time delays as we have to honor first all of our appointments.

APPOINTMENT REQUEST BY EMAIL: Please provide your country of travel, departure date, preferred schedule day and time and at least two contact telephone numbers such as home and cellular or office. We will confirm your online request within one business day either by telephone or email.

APPOINTMENT or WALK-IN HOURS:

MORNINGS: Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM

AFTERNOONS: Monday to Thursday: 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM

Convenient location with free street parking (no parking meters)

Our clinic hours may extend beyond the above posted hours to accommodate seasonal demands of our traveling patients. Always call to confirm our current hours for services. We are closed all legally observed holidays.

How we price our medical services for you.

At Healthy Traveler® Clinic we hold true to our principles of fair pricing, excellent service and value.

We recognize that travel and vaccines can be expensive so our goal is to find the best balance between cost and risk for each person’s comfort level and budget and provide the best personalized service. At our clinic you can talk to our doctor who is certified in travel medicine and can provide you with any immunizations, medications and advice you need in one efficient visit. We’ve cared for many thousands of travelers over the years and have earned an excellent reputation.

And we provide the most gentle, pain-free shot on this planet...period...honest! We carry most travel medications and one of the largest vaccine inventories in Southern California. When you need it, it’s in stock! We also carry first aid kits, insect repellents and lots of other travel safety stuff. All in an office with no waiting, that’s as friendly, spotless, professional and efficient as you’ll ever see. Truly “one-stop.” We hope you’ll come and see us. We think you’ll be impressed.

What form of payment do we accept for medical services?

Debit Card (we do not charge you a fee), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Cash.

We’re sorry to say that we do not accept personal and/or business checks at this time as form of payment. Per credit card agreement, we can accept third party credit card transactions if we received written authorization in advance. Please download credit card authorization form here.

Can we bill your medical insurance?

Healthy Traveler Clinic is not a member of any insurance or medical plans at this time.

After completion of services, please submit directly to your own insurance carrier for direct reimbursements. Do remember that different insurance plans have different coverage's when it comes to claims regarding travel immunization services. You will need to check directly with your insurance carrier if your plan covers you for medical services rendered by a travel clinic.

However, we will provide you with a complete and detailed statement of medical services for direct submission to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursements. When you submit a claim, the processing of your claim(s) will be between you and your insurance company, not our clinic.

FOR OUR MEDICARE ELIGIBLE PATIENTS:

If your are presently eligible for Medicare and/or Medicare Supplement, please remember that
Part B Medicare DOES NOT cover the cost for immunizations and vaccinations. Because it is a "non-covered" services, the cost of immunization and vaccination will be an OPT-OUT "out of pocket expense" for you and will be classified by Medicare as a "Private for Pay Service."

 

HELPFUL DIRECTIONS TO OUR CLINIC IN PASADENA

We are located on the southwest corner of East Green Street and Chester Avenue in the City of Pasadena. We are five blocks east of Lake Avenue and two blocks west of Pasadena City College. Please note that Green Street runs one way eastbound only. Plenty of free, non-metered, street parking in front of our building on both sides of the street including Chester Avenue.
